The Crow And The Pitcher – Aesop’s fables

The black unhappy crow standing

On a hot summer evening, a crow was trying to drink some water from a deep hollow container, but to no avail. The water was too deep in for the crow’s beak to reach it. Feeling as though he might die of thirst, the crow began actively thinking of a way to get the water out.

So, he grabbed some stones lying nearby and began to throw them into the container. As the water rose to the surface, the crow comfortably drank it up.

Using his wit in a needy hour had solved his problem for him.
