The Wolf and Shepherd – Aesop’s fable

wolf

One night, a wolf was sneaking around a shepherd’s hut and began to peer into his hut sneakily. He saw that the shepherd and his wife were enjoying a delicious, huge lamb roast. They were chattering and enjoying their evening.

“What a sight. They are doing the same thing themselves which they would kill me for doing; eating lambs” huffed the wolf to himself as he went off to hunt.

Men often looking down upon others doing the same things, they themselves do.
