The Lion’s share – Aesop’s fables

lion

A Lion, a wolf, a jackal and a fox decided that they would share all the animals they were able to hunt.

One day, the wolf came across the spoils of a deer and immediately called out to the rest of his friends so that they could split the meal.

The lion took charge and began to split the stag into four parts, but soon after he had split them kept all four parts for himself since he was the King, leaving the others dumbfounded.
