The Lion, Bear and Fox – Aesop’s fables

lion

One day, a bear spotted a kid by itself and decided that it would attack it. Getting in position, as soon as the bear leapt at the small goat, a lion also appeared from the bush and attacked the same goat. The bear and the lion got into a fight over who would get the kid.

A fox nearby saw the scene and while the two beasts fought, the fox came forward and took away the kid and left the lion and the bear shocked.

Wasting time in useless arguments might result in loss of substance.
