Bedtime Stories: The Sleepy Moon Rabbit

One quiet evening, in a meadow filled with silver flowers, lived a small rabbit named Milo. Milo loved listening to bedtime stories from his grandmother every night. But one night, when the stars appeared, the moon looked dim and sleepy.

“Grandma,” Milo whispered, “why is the moon not shining tonight?”

Grandma smiled gently. “Perhaps the moon needs a bedtime story too.”

Milo’s ears twitched. He had never thought about that before. Determined to help, he hopped across the meadow, over tiny streams, and up a small hill. The closer he got to the sky, the brighter the stars seemed.

On the hill, Milo called out, “Dear Moon, would you like a bedtime story?”

The moon glowed faintly and replied, “I am tired. No one has told me a story in ages.”

Milo sat down and began telling a simple tale about a brave seed that grew into a giant tree. His voice was soft, calm, and slow — just like the best bedtime stories.

As he spoke, the moon slowly began to shine brighter. The stars twinkled happily, and the meadow below lit up with gentle silver light.

When Milo finished, the moon yawned. “Thank you, little rabbit. Your bedtime story helped me rest.”

Milo hopped back home, feeling proud. Grandma tucked him into bed and whispered, “Kindness makes the world brighter.”
