The Fisherman And The Little Fish – Aesop’s fables

the fisherman and the little fish

A young fisherman was having an unlucky day out at sea. By the end of the day, he was only able to catch a tiny little fish in his net.

The small fish knew its fate, so it tried to escape it. “Oh, fisherman let me go. I am just a small fish who cannot fulfill your hunger. If you let me go now, you can catch me when I am much bigger and meatier” squealed the little fish.

“Why should I let you go, a small meal is still better than no meal at all” the fisherman replied as he pulled the fish out of the water.
